Hi Cara,
I wanted to share this with you. G has kept this Jellyfish (that he made at your daycare) above his bed for all these years. Tonight he called me to his room to show me that the tape had let go and several of the tentacles had fallen off. I asked him if he wanted to still keep it as he made it so long ago etc.
He said "yeah ok I guess we can get rid of it. I only kept it to remember" like he was trying to be stoic. I asked him "to remember Cara?" And he said yes. Well that was that.
I stapled all the tentacles back on and L re-hung it above his bed. Here's a photo of it good as new in its place above his bed.
It's amazing the impact you made on our boys. We talk of you often and both T and G have a special place in their hearts for you, with such good memories of their time with you. T was, just a couple of weeks ago, going through his photo album you made for him. :) Hope you are all doing great.

To whom it may concern,
We had our children in Cara's Care Bear's Family Child Care for a total of three years (2015-2018). Our son M attended for one year and our daughter E attended for three years, both only leaving to begin kindergarten.
Cara calls her child care a family child care and that is exactly what it is. The children in Cara's care feel like they are a part of her family. Cara cares for each and every child as if they were her own children.
Care is dependable, kind, caring, and fun-loving. She does many extra activities with the children each month. Some of the activities include but not limited to: weekly music classes, daily crafts, theme days, PJ days, visiting various parks, providing snacks and lunches on special days, visiting the Royal BC Museum and Butterfly Gardens, having a special Mother's Day tea and Father's Day barbecue and going to the Kensington to read books and sing songs for the elderly residents there.
Care is also incredibly patient. When our daughter first started going to Cara's she had a hard time with the transition and cried a lot. Cara gave E just the right amount of reassurance and consoling that she needed to feel comfortable in her new environment. Cara also was instrumental in our success in potty training E. Cara helped us with specific strategies and appropriate expectations when we were having a very difficult time trying to potty train her. And if her patience during potty training isn't enough, Cara celebrates each child's success in completing their potty training with a 'poop cake!' The kids love it and are all so excited to work towards getting their own 'poop cake.'
It is without any hesitation that our family recommends Cara Blondeau to look after your child(ren). We highly recommend Cara's Care Bear's Family Child Care. How do we say thank you for the last four years? Thank you for loving P at your home. Thank you for giving her structure, and stimulation, and expectation, and responsibilities. Thank you for teaching her about the planets, and bugs and music. Thank you for keeping her safe. It's so strange to look back at pictures of her as a babe in your yard, and now see the 'big kid' she's becoming. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We have been so fortunate to have you caring for P, and we know we're lucky that we'll have you to care for T too.
